Kiltimagh 1-10 Swinford 0-8: Kiltimagh were the better of the sides in this tense final and eventually prevailed by 5 points. It was very close in the first half and Kiltimagh secured a two point lead at the break. Kiltimagh were hard pressed to maintain that lead and with the game going into injury time that was still the margin between the sides. A goal would have finished Kiltimagh at that point but it was Kiltimagh who put the ball in the net, through the boot of David Lydon, to seal a well deserved win.
